Who it's for
Anyone who wants a little more color in an ordinary week. You don't need to be an artist, and you don't need to be going through anything in particular. A pen, a quiet half hour, and some curiosity are enough.
Work through it front to back, or open it anywhere. The pages are meant to be written on, colored in, and returned to.
Look inside
A few pages, so you can see how it works. Some are stories, some are prompts, some are space for you.

Meet the author
I'm Joy. I've been a clinical social worker for more than thirty years, and I'm in private practice in Gainesville, Georgia. I'm also a Reiki Master, a nonprofit founder, and an assistant swim coach at Brenau University. Color My World, Please grew out of years of noticing how much color has to do with how we feel, and wanting to give people a kind, practical way to explore that for themselves.

Joy’s workbook found me at the perfect time. I was coming out of a very overwhelming time and found myself dipping into old patterns of pushing through, when I opened this workbook I deeply exhaled knowing this was just the tool to bring me home to myself. I utilize it as a form of intuition where I flip the pages and trust where I land. From there I read and do the exercises and they’re always just what I need. I feel I’m able to find gratitude easier and allow colors and beauty to engage me. Thank you Joy, what a truly amazing piece of art!

“Color My World, Please” is a journey for the senses-literally! Working through this book helped me reconnect body & mind in a unique way using color as a mindful prompt and then as a tactile exercise. It is thoughtfully designed to complement any therapeutic journey; or perhaps, if you’ve never tried therapy, to help you get started. I highly recommend it!

Joy!! Thank you so much for sending me your book! I absolutely love it and it feels like it’s come into my life at the right time as well. Feel like I’m coming out of some experiences where I stopped tending to the vibrance of my life. I’m so looking forward to working through this. Thank you!! ❤️❤️
